a tribute

With half of our possessions lost on our trip over here, it was a miracle we ended up with two hats from home. One is a white hat that got really stained from a mysterious leak in our bag, and the other was the Bubba Gump hat, which recently left us on our hitchhiking trip back from sink building. Here's the last picture we have of it right before the wind took it from Justin's head.

This is actually Justin's second Bubba Gump hat. #1 was so well-loved and worn that it didn't look blue at all. I honestly thought it was brown!

Here's Bubba Gump hat #2 in Hawaii when it was purchased.

We went back and looked for the hat, but sadly, it was not to be found. We hope to see it driving past on a Thai man riding a scooter someday, but wherever it is, we hope it's happy.

Rest in peace, Bubba. You're spirit will live on next time we get a chance to go to Bubba Gump's.
